Under the umbrella of the Shamanelism project, we organize a series of contemporary art activities – online and offline. The activities will include the use of materials produced during the music workshops. All the produced music will be published and archived in the Sumnakay contemporary music library. The activities imply the organization of four concerts with the bands created in the Craiova Detention Center during the workshops. They will perform in different locations in Bucharest; the physical/online production and dissemination of the music album “Shamanelism” composed of 12 songs created/reinterpreted by the participants in the music workshop held in Craiova’s Detention Center; the online production and dissemination of the best four compilations of tracks, along with their archiving and digitization in the “Sumnakay” Sound Library; the organization of a photography exhibition in Bucharest with a selection of photos taken by the visual artist who documented the music workshops.
